Tangra Deaths: Prasun Dey arrested in triple murder case

Prasun Dey, the younger son of Tangra’s Dey family, has been arrested. He was discharged from NRS Medical College and Hospital on Monday. His elder brother Pranay Dey and nephew Prateep Dey are still undergoing treatment. The case took a serious turn after Prasun’s father-in-law filed a murder complaint following the death of his daughter, Romi Dey.

Meanwhile, police are continuing their investigation into the violent incident that left three family members dead and three others injured. According to police sources, 43-year-old Prasun Dey claimed in his statement that he was the one who slit the hands of his wife, Romi Dey, and sister-in-law, Sudeshna Dey.

Authorities are now examining the circumstances leading up to the attack, along with the sequence of events that unfolded inside the Dey residence. Forensic experts have been called in to analyze evidence, while statements from other family members are being recorded. After being discharged, Prasun was taken to Tangra police station for further questioning.
